This Refund Policy explains the terms for payments made for our membership and contact-request services. By making a payment, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

1. Non-refundable fees

As a general rule, all fees are non-refundable. This includes:

The one-year membership fee of LKR 8,000.00, which grants access to the platform and weekly curated matches.
The contact-request fee of LKR 1,500.00 per request, which covers the review and processing of your request.

Because our service delivers value through digital access, verification and curation that begins immediately, fees are not refundable once the service has been activated.

2. Exceptions — when a refund may be issued

We will review refund requests in good faith in the following cases:

Duplicate payment: if you were charged more than once for the same service due to a technical error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
Membership not activated: if your membership payment was successful but access was not granted due to a fault on our side that we cannot resolve.
Contact request not fulfilled:if you paid a contact-request fee and the request is declined by us (not by the other member's choice) and the contact information is never shared, you may request a refund or a credit for a future request.

3. What is not eligible for a refund

A change of mind after payment.
Failure to receive interest or a response from a match.
Account suspension or termination due to a breach of our Terms & Conditions.
Dissatisfaction with the suggested matches, which are based on your stated preferences.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund under the exceptions above, email banthangalmatrimony@gmail.com within 7 days of the payment, including your registered email, the transaction/invoice number, and the reason for your request.

5. Processing time

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Processing times by your bank or card issuer may vary. Any payment-gateway charges may be deducted where applicable.
