These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Banthangal Matrimonial Servicewebsite, applications and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to marry under the laws applicable to you.
- You must be single, divorced, widowed or otherwise legally free to marry.
- You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself.
- You may maintain only one active profile at a time.
2. Membership & profile approval
Registration requires a one-year membership fee of LKR 8,000.00. Your profile becomes visible and eligible for matching only after it has been reviewed and approved by our team. We reserve the right to reject, edit or remove any profile that violates these Terms, contains false information, or is otherwise unsuitable.
3. Weekly matches
Active members receive one curated match per week based on the expectations and preferences set in their profile. Matches are suggestions only; we do not guarantee compatibility, a response, marriage or any specific outcome. You may express interest in or skip each match.
4. Contact requests & privacy
Phone numbers and direct contact details are hidden by default. To request a match's contact number, a fee of LKR 1,500.00applies per request. Contact details are shared only after the request is approved by our team and, where applicable, the other member's consent. You must not misuse, publish or share another member's contact information.
5. Payments & invoices
Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, PayHere. All fees are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. A digital invoice is generated for every successful payment.
6. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Provide false, misleading or impersonating information.
- Use the Service for any unlawful, commercial, harassing or fraudulent purpose.
- Solicit money, gifts or favours from other members.
- Upload offensive, obscene or copyrighted content you do not own.
- Attempt to access, scrape or disrupt the Service or other members' data.
7. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other members or the Service. Membership fees are non-refundable upon termination for cause.
8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. We act solely as an introduction platform and are not responsible for the conduct, accuracy of information, or actions of any member, whether online or offline. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the preceding twelve months. You are responsible for exercising your own judgement and caution when interacting with other members.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
